• Account information — Name and email address (provided via Google Sign-In).
• Phone number — Collected during onboarding and verified via OTP.
• Delivery address — Address(es) you add for meal delivery, including pincode.
• Order history — Records of meals ordered, skipped, and delivered.
• Device information — Browser type, device type, and IP address (collected automatically for security and analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Order processing — To prepare and deliver your meals.
• Communication — To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and service notifications.
• Account management — To manage your credits, subscriptions, and preferences.
• Service improvement — To understand usage patterns and improve our service.
• Legal compliance — To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Payment Information

• All online payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway.
• We do not store your card numbers, UPI IDs, bank account details, CVV, or any other payment credentials on our servers.
• Payment transaction records (amount, date, status) are retained for accounting and dispute resolution purposes.
• The payment gateway provider has its own privacy policy governing how your payment data is handled.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Delivery operations — Your name, phone number, and address are shared with our delivery personnel to complete deliveries.
• Payment processing — Transaction details are shared with our payment gateway provider to process payments.
• Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.

5. Cookies & Sessions

• We use a secure, HTTP-only authentication cookie (JWT) to maintain your login session.
• We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics trackers.
• You can clear cookies through your browser settings, which will log you out of the service.

6. Data Retention

• Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
• Order history and transaction records are retained for up to 3 years for accounting and legal compliance.
• If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — Update or correct inaccurate information (you can do this directly from your profile page).
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

8. Data Security

• All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Passwords are not stored — authentication is handled via Google OAuth 2.0.
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
• While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

9. Children's Privacy

PACKD is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via the app or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
